Commissions

I am available for commissions, such as fine art landscape pieces and portraits, including pet portraits. Please view my gallery for examples of my work; below are examples of commissions already completed.

I enjoy natural history and have tended to concentrate on animals in my portraiture.

I believe that for good portraiture you need to be able to capture the very essence of a person or animal in a given moment.  A key to success is to meet the subject in person, take photographs to discuss all the details so you can be confident that the final portrait is exactly what you have in mind, for example where the painting will hang, the light source, background colour scheme, etc.

Once we have agreed on the original image and final composition, I draw the planned composition for approval. Once approved, I will start work.

The prices depend on the size but for example:

A4 (21 x 30 cm) = £150

A5 (15 x 21cm) = £100
